USAF AFMC OC-ALC/GKX

Members of HHA provided the experience and coordinated requirements with our field customers to ensure we created and issued a solid, well-written and easily understood requirements document. During this process we've asked for their assistance on weekends and after hours and they made themselves available to us around the clock... clearly demonstrating their loyalty in support of the CNAF mission. HHA staff professionalism, extensive knowledge and understanding of the requirement, dedication to the mission, and seemingly tireless work ethic have gotten us to a point where we can successfully continue supporting the field - the fundamental purpose of our mission.

Commander, Naval Air Forces, N-1

The performance of HHA personnel has been nothing short of spectacular. These individuals jointly enabled the CNAF A-76 Program to function seamlessly during an extended period of turnover between government representatives. Their dedicated service resulted in timely awarding of contracts ensuring Aviation Fleet Readiness. Their extensive Naval Aviation expertise, knowledge of the government Commercial Outsourcing process and effective communication systems effectively bridged a temporary chasm in our A-76 Program Management. They worked diligently to communicate with all stakeholders, anticipate and remove potential barriers to the process.

As the NAE Total Force Action Officer for Force Shaping, your work over the past year has dramatically improved the health and viability of the military, government civilians, and contractors who ensure that the NAE meets all readiness requirements both now and in the future. Your careful preparation of all aspects of and insightful analysis of issues surrounding the recently completed CVN 78 war game exercise, detailed analysis of the NAE Total Force POM/PR submittals, and meticulous efforts in building the action plans for Strategic Objective 3.0 of the NAE Strategic Plan have been outstanding in all respects. Your ability to deliver clear, detailed analysis as well as workable solutions will have significant impact on the ability of the NAE to meet future mission requirements worldwide.

Your hard work and untiring efforts have ensured that Naval Aviation leadership will have a well-trained force with the right numbers at the right time and in the right place. Your work has been vital to improving manning readiness and has contributed greatly to elevating the Total Force Cross Functional Team to the next level of enterprise behavior. The NAE continues to benefit from your hard work and each of us within the NAE is appreciative of what you bring to the team. Fly, Fight, Lead.

I just wanted to take a minute to Thank You and tell you All what a great job you did planning and executing the Total Force Executive Steering Committee face-to-face in Pensacola last week. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the entire event and the off site was exactly the way our great Team needs to be showcased - taking on the hard issues and ensuring that we are responding to fleet needs.

WELL DONE TEAM!!

CDR Cathy M. Kimmel
Deputy Force Manpower
COMNAVAIRFOR

Bud Nelson's depth of Aviation knowledge, Commercial Outsourcing process and skillful communication effectively bridged the chasm in A-76 Program Management as incumbent vacated the position.

Bud's a huge asset to CNAF, the NAE and me! Please know he's been working round the clock doing whatever it takes to answer the contractor's questions, expertly updated PWS's with ever-changing PAA numbers (as provided from leadership) and has done a superb job! I tell him I appreciate him, but until I tell his boss- he may think I'm just blowing smoke. He is worth his weight in gold!
